Maysam Abdullah Ghatran

an Faculty of Management and Economics, Department of Marketing, born in 1993, with a robust academic background. She earned her master's degree in marketing science management from the University of Mosul in 2023 and previously obtained a bachelor's degree in business administration in 2018. Currently serving as an employee at the Nineveh Provincial Council, she holds the esteemed position of Director of the Office of the Chairman of the Organizations and Human Rights Committee since 2019. Before that, she showcased her capabilities as the Assistant Director of the Media Department at the Nineveh Provincial Council in 2018. In addition to her professional role, Maysam contributes significantly to societal progress. She is a gender consultant with PAX Peacebuilding, actively participating in the Local Peace Committees project funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. As the chair of the Tal Afar Peace Committee within the Nineveh Provincial Council, Maysam manages funding received from the British Consulate. Her commitment extends to being a valued board member of both the 2250 Network and the Voices for Justice Network. Furthermore, Maysam is an integral part of the European Union-funded team of human rights defenders, showcasing her dedication to promoting and safeguarding human rights.
